New iPad launching in Malaysia this April 20

If you haven’t yet purchased the new iPad overseas, expect the model to hit Malaysian shelves this Apr 20. Apple released a press release announcing the arrival of the new iPad to eleven new countries including Malaysia. We contacted several authorised Apple resellers to confirm the news and we can assure local Apple junkies that both the Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi 4G models will be sold.
The new iPad doesn’t stray too far from its second-generation but boasts a higher screen resolution, a new Retina display, a A5X chip with quad-core graphics and a 5MP camera. Reviews have suggested its new display projects stunning imageries, which may prove useful for those who watch HD videos on the gadget.
The iPad is available Apr 20, 10am across Malaysia and prices start at RM1499. Whether you’ll be clearing your pending leave days for the launch, we suggest you snag your tablet the soonest you can. Advance store or online reservations cannot be made and the new iPads will be sold on a first come first served basis come Apr 20.
